    its Members
  • And to respect the conviction of others in the matters
of worship and religion is true Americanism
  • To gain valuable hours for High School and College Transcripts through Charitable and Benevolent activities in their community.

Decorate for the Holidays

11/28/16 – Wow! In spite of the fact several officers were in Las Vegas, 22 of us managed to complete decorating most of the Lodge on Sunday. This number included two SUPER helpful new members and one potential member along with six officers. Debbie Wilson, Sharon Boling, Tony Campas (he left the next morning) Louie Torres, Charlie Castillo, and I spent nearly 8 hours there. The Kubiks and Nawrociks did a great job on the Members’ Bar, while Debbie and Sharon headed up the dining room, Tony the stage, and I the hallway and foyer.

However, the Ladies’ Bar and the alcove (for Santa and the Children’s Party) still need to be done. So there is still something for the rest of you to do! So, once you’re back, please contact Tony Campas and Charlie Castillo, the officers in charge of the Christmas parties, and let them know when you can assist with the remainder of the job. We left some things in the decorations room, including a new fireplace for the alcove. The rest of us are counting on you. We put in our combined 81.5 hours already.

Thank you for a great job so far team!!

Andy Licoscos
Decorations Chair

*******************************************************************************************

It’s that time of year again to deck the halls, flock the tree and clear snow from the driveway. Well OK maybe not the snow part. Anyways, come help decorate the Lodge for the Christmas season.

At this point the decorating committee chair, Andy Licoscos, has met with the Esteemed Lecturing Knight, Tony Campas (Adult Christmas Party Host) and Inner Gaurd Charlie Castillo (Childrens Christmas Party) to plan Christmas decorating. If you have a preference to which part of the Lodge in which you would like to decorate, please email Andy before hand at andylicoscos@earthlink.net. It works out better when committee members have a particular place to work. I will get back to you the day before with who has asked to be in which section, areas include:

  • Stage
  • Dining Room
  • Members Bar
  • Ladies Bar
  • Hall/Foyer
  • Alcove (which we will do later, closer to the Dec. 21 date for the Children’s Party)
We have TONS of stuff, new pre-lit trees, new lights, and some other new items. Centerpieces are planned out so that part won’t be too challenging. Please plan to come help the Christmas Party Officers Tony and Charlie and help get into the season.
